"Forecast Plus" is a comprehensive weather forecast addon for Firefox, Opera and Chrome browsers. It supports Multiple locations and shows the current weather temperature in the toolbar icon in both Fahrenheit to Celsius units. It is powered by "Weather Underground" which provides local & long range weather forecast, weather reports, maps and tropical weather conditions for locations worldwide.

  1. How does this extension work?

The extension uses an online weather service in order to show the current weather condition at your area. So it might take a while for the extension to load the panel.

  2. recommended "Dino - The Dinosaur Game" extension for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox browsers

Time to have a break? Avoid obstacles, including cacti and pterodactyls by pressing the up and down keys. That's it! This The original game was created by Sebastien Gabriel in 2014. Read more here.

  3. What's new in this version?

    Please check the Logs section.

  4. Why sometimes station is not set correctly after closing the popup window?

When selecting an station, please first make sure to use the magnification button (+) to determine the correct region. If the newly selected station is inside the region (inside the black circle), the station will be stored fine and the badge icon will update itself in a few minutes according to your settings. However, if the newly selected station is not inside the circle, you need to close the popup window once the new station is selected. Then reopen the popup and wait for the UI to load again. Now zoom the region again and change the station from the default station to the preferred one (This time the station is inside the circle).

  5. Is it possible to change weather unit from Celsius to Fahrenheit or vice versa?

Yes, click on the toolbar button. Wait for the panel to load. Now in the top right corner, there is a gear icon, click on the icon and change the weather unit. Now wait for the panel to reload. At this point, the badge icon should have been changed based on your unit selection. Now you can close the panel.

  6. How long does it take for the badge icon to update the weather?

By default it auto-update itself every 3 minutes. You can change this by going to the extension's Setting page. In Firefox, click on the menu button, then go to Add-ons. Find Forecast Plus and click on the preferences button.

  7. The panel does not show anything or displays 404 not found error page. How can I reset the extension back to the default view?

Forecast plus stores the last visited station and uses that location for your next visit. If for any reason the toolbar panel is blank, you may need to clear this preference.

In Firefox, open a new browser tab and enter "about:config" in the addressbar. now search for extensions.jid1-w3xH9kJhd3KJUp@jetpack.current-url and right click on it and press reset. Forecast Plus should load the default location now.

In Chrome, simply remove the extension from "chrome://extensions/" and install it one more time from Chrome's store.

  8. Some sections of the toolbar panel keep loading. Can I fix this?

Most likely you have a script blocker extension installed that prevents Forecast Plus from accessing its resources. Make sure you can open in a browser tab.
