What is the "Downloader for Instagram™" extension and how does it work?
This lightweight extension aims to provide an easy-to-use image downloader for Instagram. The extension adds new labels (tags) to each image indicating all available image sizes. By clicking on each label, the selected image size will be downloaded to the user's default download directory. Note that you can always get the highest available resolution by clicking on the image first to allow it to be opened in an HD quality. Note that this extension uses non-persistent background page to prevent background usage when it is not necessary. Basically, the extension has no effect on your browser performance when it is not being used.
recommended "Reader View" extension for Chrome, Safari, Edge, Opera and Firefox browsers.
The "Reader View" extension improves readability by removing clutter like buttons and background images, and adjusting text layout and contrast. It uses Mozilla's Readability library and has a Firefox-style interface. Features include highlighting, note-taking, quick editing, and saving or printing in HTML, Markdown, or screenshot format. Why there is no 1080w quality in the gallery view?
Instagram does not provide this quality when the image is viewed in the gallery mode. You need to first click on the image to let Instagram load the image in the single view mode. In this view, you will get the tag for the highest available quality.
