"Notifier for Twitter™" brings notifications for new tweet, mentions, replies and direct messages. It uses Twitter streaming API. Everything appears instantly. You will get badge notification as well as desktop notification once a new message is fetch. Note that the sole purpose of this extension is to provide a better experience to users of Twitter service and it is NOT THE INTENTION to mislead anyone to think this is the official application.
